In late 1996 I was hired on to ink backgrounds over simple liner layout art, it was then coloured digitally in the digital paint dept.

On the right you can see some samples of the layout art as it looked when we got it, and some of the style guide images we were given from the design dept to fallow in the application of lighting, line weight and other key stylistic notes.

The work was all done using a Pentel Brush Pen and White Out, the tools of choice of the designer whose style was used for the show [the director Steve Whitehouse decided to deviate from the style of creator Steve Purcell's work for the backgrounds for this show]
