Pg 6. One of the best I think drawing wise from the issue and still in fine shape, I loved drawing this fun Barcode scene featuring Kenshiro “Zero” Cochrane’s girlfriend, Kylie Gagarin:
A lot of the pages of this book are from single larger sheets, that held a double page spread. This was cut down from that to fit in my presentation folio, it’s 8.5×13.5″.
An unpublished Ghost Rider 2099 story, commissioned by Joey Cavalieri, written by Warren Ellis, and drawn by Max Douglas aka Salgood Sam in 1995. First time I think I used the pen name professionally.
These are original pages from the book, the single pages are 11×17″, 14×17 or 8.5×13.5″, the double page spreads are the same scale, on 14×17″ bristol. The art is done in pen and ink, and some markers for fills. I hadn’t started to use brushes at all at this time. And I was experimenting with smaller sizes to work at for efficiency and stylistic reasons.
The pasteup art with lettering for this book is for sale too, you can get those for pretty cheap. I’ll be adding more pages from this book in a bit, for now these are the best IMO of the book.
