Portraits & Commissions
Along with being an artist for hire for commercial or corporate clients,
I enjoy working on private commissions too. In some ways this kind of work is the most fun.
It’s making art that is often more personal for the client.
There can be some overlap, but private commissions are not really designed for public use, adds or otherwise put into service promoting or decorating a product.
They are drawings or painting for your home, or workplace perhaps. Embellishments on your living space, custom illustrations for a wedding invitation or family event? Personalized greeting cards? Portraits of a loved one or pet? Something to hang over the mantel piece that everyone will notice?
Being personal work private commissions often reflect very diffident goals for both me and my clients, and the fees involved are set diffidently to reflect that.
So I’m not going to attempt to post rates here beyond those you’ll find on my standard rates list, because there are way too many variables.
Instead, write! A reasonable fee for whatever you desire, assuming I’m available, can be negotiated directly!
I love to experiment, and trying to work in different styles. I don’t promise i’ll say yes but feel free to ask me about something you don’t see here already, or taking on the job of trying to paint or draw your loved one, as a 18th century lord or a 23rd century space faring explorer! I’ve also worked on murals and carvings in the past as well. I’m up for almost anything if it catches my fancy.
